The Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians (CTCLUSI) developed this Tribal History/Shared History curriculum to support educators in teaching accurate, meaningful, and age-appropriate lessons about the Tribe, our homelands, histories, cultures, and continued presence today.Developed in alignment with Oregon Senate Bill 13 (Tribal History/Shared History), these lessons center CTCLUSI perspectives and knowledge while providing educators with classroom-ready materials and resources. The curriculum is organized by grade level and is designed to build students' understanding from year to year.The materials available here may be downloaded and used by educators in their classrooms. Additional grade levels, resources, language audio, and educator supports will be added as curriculum development continues.
