Gathering Trips for Barks, Weaving & Medicines (Cedar Bark focused)
May 22

We invite our CTCLUSI community to join our spring gathering trips—time on our lands to gather cedar and maple bark and continue our weaving, tool making, medicines, and stewardship practices. Your presence helps carry these traditions forward.
Dates:
May 22 — Cedar bark focused (likely Horse Creek)
June 5 — Maple bark focused (likely Lake Tract CTCLUSI forest lands)
Food and snacks will be provided. Transportation is limited to Elders (9 seats, first come, first served). Transportation from Coos Bay and Florence is available; we are not able to provide transportation from Eugene at this time due to current limited staffing.
Please RSVP by May 15. Meet-up details, terrain information, and final updates will be shared after you RSVP, with a reminder sent three days before each trip.
Note: Locations may shift depending on seasonal conditions and what the land is offering.
We look forward to being together on the land 🤎
