New Beginnings for Tribal Students (NBTS) Collaborative Exchange Gatherings
January 19 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Invitation to Dinner with New Beginnings for Tribal Youth
– Collaborative Exchange Meetings
CTCLUSI has been working with the New Beginnings for Tribal Students (NBTS) grant program for three years, with partners at Oregon State University and Southwestern Oregon Community College. The NBTS steering committee and staff would like to hear input and feedback from the CTCLUSI community at our annual winter NBTS Collaborative Exchange meetings on January 19th and January 26th. You are invited to attend either of these events. Dinner will be served along with cultural games and prizes. There will be updates about the NBTS program, a survey and meaningful discussion. Families are encouraged to attend and childcare is available.
The goal of the NBTS grant is to increase Native American undergraduate student success and meaningful career development. NBTS does this through supporting students in experiential learning internships in natural sciences, mentorships and the pre-college Indigenous youth camp.
