Martin Luther King Jr. Day – All Tribal Offices Closed
January 20

Martin Luther King Jr. was also a vocal advocate for Native American rights, actively supporting their fight for desegregation and tribal sovereignty, even collaborating with Native American tribal leaders in the late 1950s to desegregate schools in southern Alabama, particularly working with the Poarch Band of Creek Indians. His message of equality for all races and peoples continues to resonated deeply.
In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, our offices will be closed on Monday, January 20th.
Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, January 21st.
